Good Morning, Sunland
It’s Wednesday! And it’s October. I keep saying it but this might be my favorite month! Especially for the newsletter! So many people to meet at all the events going on! If you want something to do you will find it!
Also, we are (at the time of writing this) 15 away from hitting 1,000 on Instagram! If you haven’t already give it a follow! There’s plenty over there that doesn’t always make it to the newsletter, so it’s worth a follow here!
💜 People Pass Shoutout: Thank you to everyone supporting the newsletter! If you want to help keep this going, support here.
🎨 ICYMI: If you are bored and want a little fun for yourself or the kids, print out this Fort Pierce mural coloring page here.

📘 Main Squeeze: New Restaurants Opening Across the Treasure Coast

What's Going On: Several new restaurants recently opened across the Treasure Coast, with more on the way. The lineup includes everything from fresh doughnuts to Greek food, plus some popular spots are moving to bigger locations.
Already Open: Daddy's Donuts opened in Vero Beach, run by a firefighter and his wife making fresh doughnuts daily with classic favorites and new flavors like Dubai chocolate. A new breakfast and lunch cafe opened at the former Fire & Wine location. A popular Greek restaurant that closed has reopened with the same owner at a new location.
Coming Soon: The couple behind one of the area's most popular barbecue spots is opening a modern, market-style healthy eatery. A Food Network-featured BBQ restaurant is moving into a much bigger space at the former Shindig Irish Restaurant & Pub location in Port St. Lucie, planning to reopen mid-October. Papichulo Tacos, known for tacos and tequila in Palm Beach County, announced it's opening its first Treasure Coast location in 2026.
Gone But Not Forgotten: A popular popcorn and ice cream shop closed after five years, though fans can still find their products at other Treasure Coast locations. A soul food restaurant chain also closed after nearly two years in business.
