Call For A Free Quote🟠 Main Squeeze: Four restaurants are coming to Tradition and one of them is already confirmed

Western Port St. Lucie is getting more sit down dining and the site plan got approved unanimously by city council this week 🍽️.
The project is called Innovation Plaza and it is going in at Innovation Way and Village Parkway in Tradition. The developer, Gustavo Lumer of Lumer Real Estate, says it will be a $20 to $22 million development with five buildings totaling 39,500 square feet. That is twice the size of a version of this project the city approved back in 2024.
What is coming 📋:
🍝 An Italian restaurant
🍜 A Thai restaurant
🌮 A Mexican restaurant
🍳 First Watch — the only confirmed tenant by name so far
💍 A jewelry store
🏦 A bank
Lumer says leases could be signed within the next 60 days and construction could start in early 2027. If everything goes to plan the restaurants could be open in about a year and a half.
The three unnamed restaurants and the bank have not been announced yet so we will be watching for that.
Lumer also gave an update on the larger Entertainment District he is planning about 80 acres further south on Village Parkway. National companies are scheduled to tour the site in the coming weeks and he says he is talking to four grocery stores but only wants to bring in two, with a focus on more upscale options than what is already in the area 👀.

🏥 Cleveland Clinic Plans Two Standalone ERs by 2028
Cleveland Clinic plans to open two standalone emergency rooms in early 2028, one at Oslo Road and 27th Avenue SW in South Vero and another on Sebastian Boulevard in Sebastian. The hospital is working to solidify its market share against HCA Florida’s Lawnwood and Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital. The announcement came just as the county was discussing a possible third hospital.

🚧 Prima Vista Boulevard Median Plan Draws Mixed Reactions
St. Lucie County wants to replace the center left-turn lane on Prima Vista Boulevard between Airoso Boulevard and U.S. 1 with a raised median. County officials say the change could improve safety by up to 40 percent on a stretch that has seen 578 crashes since 2020. Some neighbors worry the median will make everyday trips like school drop-off and getting into driveways much harder.

⚖️ Judge Blocks Indiantown Data Center Appeal Hearing
Circuit Judge William Roby granted an injunction requested by Silver Fox 606 LLC, halting the October 19 appeal hearing on the proposed Project Silver Fox data center. The appeal was filed by a resident who challenged the village’s map update for about 600 acres. Indiantown officials now have 20 days to show why the hearing should go forward, and the village is reviewing the order. Developers hope to begin construction in 2027, with the completed facility to be sold to Crux AI, a partnership between Google and Blackstone.
