☀️🌱 Plus: Tragic Loss at Pepper Park Beach 💔 and Frittata Cafe & Bistro Up for Sale 🍵 This is Sunland!
Good Morning, Sunland!
It’s Monday! Your inbox says 7:30ish, but your clock might still read 6. That’s right, you got a rare gift: an extra hour of sleep. And yes, it’s dark out—daylight savings is back, and mornings are officially harder to get out of bed. So, if you’re still a little slow, blame it on the time change. We’ve got about 5 more days left to use this excuse—play the card while it lasts. Alright…
🫡 Salute: Westwood pulled off a win over Central in the 45th anniversary rivalry game. Keep an eye out for the Sunland Recap video tomorrow—it might have a surprise or two.
🍨 Ate Local: Tried out The Ice Cream Shoppe on PSL Blvd. Two scoops of sugar-free turtle ice cream with pecans for $4.50 ( I tipped). Highly Recommend!

PSL is Bringing the 90s to MIDFLORIDA
PSL is seriously taking us back in time this week. I actually had to double-check when I caught myself saying Digital Underground and Color Me Badd in the same breath. But yes, mom (I know you’re excited)—it’s happening! Your 90s dream is coming true because All-4-One, Color Me Badd, and Digital Underground are about to hit the MIDFLORIDA Event Center stage on Saturday, November 9th at 7 p.m. Here’s hoping it’s an unforgettable show, for better or for better.
Here’s the lineup and some accolades to maybe take you over the edge:
All-4-One – You know them for "I Swear" and "I Can Love You Like That." They sold 20 million albums and won a Grammy.
Color Me Badd – With songs like "I Wanna Sex You Up" and "All 4 Love," these guys were everywhere in the 90s. They’re triple-platinum.
Digital Underground – These are the guys who brought us "The Humpty Dance." (If you don’t know this, stop what you’re doing and look it up) If you’re here for classic hip-hop fun or Will Smith energy they’ll bring it, no question.
Tickets aren’t bad at $45 (plus tax and fees). Grab them online at www.etix.com or hit up the MIDFLORIDA Event Center Box Office, open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For all the event details, visit www.midfloridaeventcenter.com.

One of my favorite photos I’ve taken in a while. I was trying to get a photo in front of the trailer to shout out the snow cone business, but the father side kicked in, so we got a picture on the back to shout out “ Dem Pittman Boys.” I love it! Alright… see you tomorrow!
With love,
